It was December 2014...

...the day after Christmas. I was sitting in some pizza shop in
Manhattan enjoying a slice when it hit me that I felt like complete sh*t.

Like a switch had been flipped - the background noise cut out and all I could hear was the deafening silence that was the pain my body was in.

A rushed appointment with my GI doctor left me with a run-of-the-mill IBS diagnosis and a prescription for a medication that made my symptoms worse.

At just 24 years old, I REFUSED to accept this as my life sentence.

In that moment I decided I was going to become an expert in digestive health and help other women going through the same exact thing.

I help resolve symptoms l;ike:

I know exactly what it is like to not feel well, to become a stranger in your own body, and feel like the body you live in is betraying you.

It is my goal to make sure that every women I work with has the EXACT steps they need to get their *zest for life* back, feeling energetic, alive, and thriving!

Every day I work with women just like you who have felt unheard, lost, and even crazy because the symptoms they experience are minimized and ignored by friends, family, and even worse - doctors whom they trust.

My clients notice a reduction in their symptoms within the first month of getting started, with many of them experiencing a total resolution of their problem within 6 months.

Sibo

Looking back, my digestion had never been healthy, but when I was 24 something changed drastically.

For months I had been dealing with chronic, unrelievable constipation, painful bloating, fatigue, brain fog, sinusitis, and joint pain. A specialist told me I had IBS, prescribed me a medication, and told me it would be something I would have to manage for life. Nothing worked to relieve or improve my symptoms.

After months of Google searching for some shred of a solution, a clinical nutritionist was able to help me identify that I had SIBO,
or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, and helped me create a plan to clean things up.

After years of trial, error, and patience, I finally have the best digestive health and overall wellness I have felt in my entire life. It was through this time of pain and adversity that I discovered so many others who struggle with similar issues only to have so many questions left unanswered. I knew that it was my purpose to change this!

In 2018, I was accepted into the well-renowned and prestigious master's of human nutrition degree program at the University of Bridgeport and thus became the start of my pursuit for better gut health for women!

Road to Wbff Pro

While still trying to navigate fat loss on my own, I discovered the world of female bodybuilding and knew that I had found my next lease on life! I used prepping for competitions as a way to achieve my desired fat loss goals.

I competed in my very first bikini competition in June 2014. Although I came in last place, I fell in love with the experience and decided to pursue the WBFF as a Diva Bikini amateur. While also dealing with the onset of SIBO during this time, I was determined not to let my poor health interfere with my success in a sport and hobby that I had loved so much.

After several top 5 placements in the Northeast, I was finally awarded my WBFF Pro card in 2016 at the Fitness Atlantic at Mohegan Sun.

After a few years off, I stepped on stage for the first time as a professional competitor in Los Angeles in 2019.

Although I am unsure whether I will be competing again in the future, competing was the center of my life for so many years and will remain an important and coveted period of my life! I now take so much pride and joy coaching and encouraging other women to strap those heels on and strut their stuff on the competitive stage!

Higher Education

While I was preparing to begin my masters degree program, I completed my Sports Nutrition Coaching certification with Precision Nutrition and began coaching my own private clients in 2018. I primarily focused on fitness nutrition, fat loss, and metabolic rehab through reverse dieting.

Although my initial interest in nutrition was through gut health, the human nutrition program at the University of Bridgeport opened my world up to countless arenas in human nutrition and wellness.

My studies were heavily focused on human biochemistry, developmental nutrition and lifestyle, the development and progression of human disease, lab testing analysis, and client care. I quickly discovered my excitement, passion, and interest "connecting the dots" between our biochemistry, wellness, and nutrition.

As I completed my degree and continued coaching, I became increasingly aware of the dire need for women's specialists who can provide higher quality of care and education to their clients.

I graduated with my Master's of Science degree in Human Nutrition from UB in 2021 with a 3.5 GPA and dedicate myself to coaching and educating in functional nutrition and women's digestive health.

I am now working towards becoming a Certified Nutrition Specialist to practice medical nutrition therapy. In 2023, I passed the CNS board exam, and in 2024 will complete 1,000 hours of supervised clinical hours required for the CNS credential.

I may return to school once again to pursue my doctoral degree and become a Doctor of Clinial Nutrition.
